Project proposal

The course will also have a project component on a security topic of your choice. You will have to write a 4 page report, and give an 8-min presentation. The project can be done in groups of 3-4 students (groups will be automatically assigned on the first week of October).

1. Project proposal (Deadline: Nov 23)

You are required to submit a project proposal by Nov 23. It carries 2% of points, but primary goal of this assignment is to ensure you start thinking about the project, make sure you have planned out your tasks, and expected outcomes. The proposal need not be longer than 1000 words (including references) and should contain (a) The topic and motivation, (b) expected tasks to finish the project and who will do which task, with timeline, and (c) expected outcome for each task. You can use whatever formatting you want for this.
