Project proposal

It should include,

• Introduction. Outline the motivation of the topic and clearly define the problem. The definition of the problem is very important to ensure you are clear what you want to do in the project. You must put enough thought into understanding what exactly you want to do. 
• Related works. Find what has already been done, and what is the research gap. This section should help you to: (1) find what is not yet done, and (2) what prior solutions/approaches you can use in your work.
• Evaluation plan. What approach can help you evaluate the project? If you are building/designing something, then how do you measure the efficacy of the system you are building. If you are doing a measurement, then evaluation should include how much and what data will you plan on collecting, and how are you planning evaluating.
• Milestones. A list of milestones with dates. Make sure you make milestones in a way that you can keep.

Feel free to use different section headers than what is mentioned above. However, in our project proposal, this information should be there. 

Of course, you can have a bigger goal than what you are planning to do in the next two months --- showing your vision is important --- but I request that you clearly state what you are planning to achieve by the end of this course.
