  4. From reading previous portfolios, first small group discussion and then whole class ("Give me 3"):
    1. What seemed to work particularly well in previous semesters?  How can you replicate those aspects?
    2. What seemed to work poorly?  How can avoid those problems?
    3. What did you find most surprising (or note worthy) about previous clubs?
    4. On-Line Clubs:  What (non-obvious) steps will you take to ensure you follow our Standards for Virtual Interactions with Minors? 
  5. Homework Announcements
    1. Lead your first club!
    2. Week 1 Club Reflection: Individual, due 2 days after your club
    3. Gather Scratch Resources and Pick a Theme: Group
    4. Becoming Established with Student Groups (quiz): Individual
  6. Work time:
    1. If your club doesn't start this week, think about creating an Intro Video?
    2. If your club is this week: Prepare for First Club!  Who will do what? Go through every detail! Role play using laptops.
    3. Finish intro letter from your group; distribute to kids at end of 1st club
    4. Finish and discuss site demographics "quiz" -- do you agree on the facts?  any implications?
