The Department of Pediatrics looks forward to working with you on one (or more) of the exciting subspecialty electives we offer! This canvas page includes basic orientation and contact information for the electives - use this as a jumping off point before you begin your clinical electives OR to explore other clinical electives of interest.

When rotating in the Department of Pediatrics, make sure department faculty
can contact you via UW Paging by:
- Enrolling in Spok Mobile, UWHC's secure paging app - instructions on the UWSMPH Center site, Clinical Resources, under the Scrubs, OR lockers, and Paging tab.
- Listing your preferred contact number in your paging profile by calling the paging operators at 608-262-2122 and asking them to edit this in your whereabouts.
If you are interested in residency in Pediatrics, Med-Peds, or Child Neurology, please watch the student email list-serves for invitations to our two scheduled advising sessions.
- ~October of M3 year - planning your phase 3 schedules
- ~February of M3 year - general advice for residency applications, including a panel of about-to-match M4 students!
- May of M3-July of M4 - one-on-one advising sessions with an advisor from our department
