Course Syllabus

The Syllabus helps instructors communicate course expectations and information. The Syllabus can be automatically populated by assignments and calendar events in the course.

Not all instructors use the Canvas Syllabus page. Some instructors will type the syllabus here, but others may attach a file to this page to download or link to another page that has the syllabus. Other instructors put the syllabus in Modules or Files.

If you ever have difficulty finding a syllabus for your course, start in this area of the Canvas course, then follow up with that instructor for more direction.
