Method 2: Module for Each Class Session

The Scenario

In your course your students attend two lectures and a discussion or lab each week.  

• To prepare for the first lecture you like your students to:  
  • 1) Read two journal articles
  • 2) Watch an online video
  • 3) take a short quiz about the video.  
• To prepare for lecture 2 you'd like the students to:  
  • 1) Read an article with a dissenting view point
  • 2) participate in an online discussion forum.  
• To prepare for discussion/lab you'd like the students to do:
  • 1) Download a problem set and work it
  • 2) bring the problem set to lab.
