Additional Resources
Diploma Timeline
- Make sure your diploma mailing address is up to date. It can take 6-8 weeks for your diploma to be shipped, so ensure you are listing a permanent diploma address where you will be able to receive it up to a few months after graduation.
- To edit your diploma address, you can do so in Student Center>Profile. View the step-by-step instructions.
- International students are required to provide a diploma address for their diploma to ship.
Degree Posting
- Most degrees will be posted within a couple of weeks following your conferral date.
- Once your degree is posted, you’ll see it listed in the Student Center’s View My Degrees tab and toward the top of your Unofficial Transcript and your Official Transcript. Your diploma itself will be mailed 6-8 weeks after the end of the semester. Update your address to ensure it delivers to the correct location.
Access to University Services
Graduating students who do not have a continued affiliation with the University will lose access to many of the University technology services after graduation, including email. See more information about what access you'll lose and steps you should take at the following link: Leaving the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
