Important Dates and Deadlines
- UW-Madison Academic Calendar: Important semester dates. Students should be in-person during all class days in Madison. Do not plan travel during breaks prior to the end of finals, and plan to be back for the first day of class, if applicable.
- Important Dates & Deadlines: Use this site to look up drop dates and other important deadlines throughout the semester: https://registrar.wisc.edu/dates/
- NOTE: Courses that do not span the whole semester will have drop dates and deadlines different than those listed above, as they correspond specifically to a 'session code.' To find dates and deadlines for a Session Code:
- Find the session code for the course in question through the Course Search & Enroll tool. You can look up the dates and deadlines from Course Search & Enroll by viewing the section.
- You can also use the following website to look up dates specific to the session code: https://registrar.wisc.edu/session-dates/

- Go to the release station (almost always right next to the printer)
- Select your job (sorted by NETID), and log in when prompted
- Select your purse
- Confirm print job
- Pick up from printer
*For any issues with your purse or printing, please submit a Jira ticket to ITS for assistance (select the 'Service Request' option): https://jira.bus.wisc.edu/servicedesk/customer/portal/2
Lost Nametag or Name tent/Nameplate
Students are expected to wear their engraved nametags to networking and WSB events. Students should also bring their name tents to the first class day, as many instructors prefer that you have them.
- If you lose your name tag, please work with your Center or department to request a new one. In some cases, a fee may apply.
- If you lose your name tent, you can print another by using the following template: Nameplate Template Download Nameplate Template
