Project presentation

• Presentations are 8min + 2 min for Q&A. (Rule of thumb do not have more than 10-12 slides including title! You can have some backup slides for Q&A.)
• Presentations ordering is in Project presentation scheduling Links to an external site. sheet.
• To ensure fairness, I will have a hard stop at 10 min.
• If you are thinking of demo, please prerecord them as videos.
• You will be using your own computer. If you want, you can test your laptop’s compatibility with the projector 10 min before the class.
• Not every member of the team has to present but they should be available to answer questions.

1. Keeping within the timeline a. Over 1 min (-0.5 point)
   b. Over 2 min (-1 point)

2. Content (Survey type work) (3 points)
   a. Clearly mention background, context, the setup / threat model 
   b. Describe your research / methods
   c. Key results
   d. Quality of synthesis/systematization of knowledge: Synthesize the knowledge learned from the prior work / articles instead of just summarizing them one after another.  Have you stated your assumptions? Have you thought of the trade-offs between security, performance, and usability?

2. Content (New system, attack) (3 points)
   a. Describe setup or context of the problem, threat model
   b. Complexity of the system / difficulty of implementation
   c. Evaluation of the system (Along security, performance) — Have you analyzed the security of your system? What about the performance (if applicable)? 
   d. Have you stated your assumptions? Have you thought of the trade-offs between security, performance, and usability?

3. Clarity of presentation (2 point)
   a. Clarity of Slides - diagrams, layout
   b. Clarity of explanation of what you have done and achieved
   c. Depth of knowledge in the area

4. How well could the team answer questions? (1 point) **
