The Stata Journal: Stata tip 72: Using the Graph Recorder (30 mins)

As Carly said during her JSIT week presentation - it's really important to spend time making good graphs. There are some efficiencies you can take advantage of in Stata to spread the time investment on one nice graph over many graphs of the same type. Stata's Graph Recorder allows you to create a scheme that can be "played" on any graph where you want to apply the same edits simply by calling the recording. Stata Tip 72 offers an explanation of using the Graph Editor to create a recording. Check it out here. Links to an external site.
