What's a "quick pitch"? In our setting, we're looking for no more than 5 minutes (about 5 slides depending on your presentation speed and style) that:

  • Introduces your topic and why it matters for the RDRC, and describe the gap in existing knowledge this project will address
  • Presents the specific research question your work will address
  • Provides a high level overview of the methods clear enough to convince the audience the work is feasible including:
    • Key data source(s)
    • Identifying variation or relationship of interest
