All individuals in the class need to complete the survey for peer evaluation of student team members. One survey must be completed for each student on the team. Thus, if you have 5 teammates, you need to complete 5 surveys. If you have 3 teammates, you need to complete 3 surveys. Do not fill out a survey for yourself.
The survey will look like the previous evaluations.

Do not be concerned that your survey submittal is not acknowledged on Canvas. This survey is conducted outside of Canvas. The instructors receive acknowledgment directly from the survey originator and know when the survey was submitted.
Peer Evaluations are individual, not team assignments. Please complete the assignment on your own without prior discussion with the other team members. We consider prior arrangement of peer evaluation scores to be cheating.
There is no value in Peer Evaluations if all students pre-arrange scores with their teammates.
One purpose of the Peer Evaluation exercise is to help each student begin to realize (if they don’t already) that everyone has their stronger and weaker points. In practice, a critical part of assembling teams (which each of you may be required to do someday) is recognizing and understanding this. Better teams have team members that complement each other so the team working together is more effective than the same individuals working independently. In addition, having too many team mates with the same characteristic (strong leadership tendencies come to mind) may result in an ineffective team.
Having a combination of strengths and weaknesses is human nature. Being able to see this is a sign of maturity.
Please be objective when scoring your teammates. Providing a score of “5 Best” for all teammates is not being responsive to the requirements of the assignment.
