DISCUSSION: Week (8) alumni debrief, writing workshop

This week in discussion you will first focus on your recent activities dealing with alumni and other outside career professionals -- through your lecture visit with alumni guests and your search for someone to hold an informational interview with.  

The second half of discussion will be devoted to discussing writing strategies to turn your technology essay first draft into a strong final draft (due midnight the day after this discussion section).  Your TA will have advice gleaned from what they saw in everyone's first drafts, what they read in your peer reviews of each other's work, and what you all talked about in writing conferences last week.  This is the time to ask any last questions about effective writing and organization for your final paper draft.
