Welcome!

Welcome to our resource library for the Engaged Leaders through Employment (ELE) program supported by the Center for Leadership & Involvement and Student Employment, Office of Financial Aid. We are excited that you are committed to embedding leadership development into your student employment experience, and we look forward to learning more about you and your unit.

Approach

Through three tiers of programming and consultation, employers are able to learn more about how to create a work culture that values student leadership development. We recognize that departments across campus are at different stages of engaging in this work, so we designed a process that keeps that work into account.

TIER 1

An entry into engagement with the Leadership Certificate for student employment, which ties with the Leadership Framework.

TIER 2

Increased level of engagement with the Leadership Certificate and/or Leadership Framework in areas of onboarding, formal evaluations, and recognition.

TIER 3

Extended commitment to the development of student leadership capacity.
