Photos

Important points to consider when choosing a photo:

1. Photos can be updated/added to a program page for the June 1 publication only.
2. You must own the copyright to the photo, use a photo from the UW-Madison photo library, or use a Creative Commons photo that is free to use without crediting the artist/photographer.
3. The photo must be landscape orientation.
4. The photo should be uncropped when submitted.
5. Resolution of original image should be larger than 960px in width and 400px in height to avoid oversampling and provide flexibility to find a suitable crop. (960x400 is the final cropped size of the picture)
6. Submit your photos to your School/College/Institute/Division coordinator
7. S/C/I/D coordinator will email the photo to be used to guideeditor@office365.wisc.edu and provide the URL for the Guide page that the photo should be attached to.
