Course lists
Generally, course lists are found on tabs holding governed content and are updated through Lumen Programs and not in the Guide editing environment. However, it may make sense to build course lists on some tabs.
Sometimes, within a course list, comment entries are necessary. For example, an editor may want to note that a student should take a Comm A course, but doesn't want to name a specific course and instead wants to specify a requirement that should be met. Step-by-step instructions are available in the Course List section of this KB.
If a course has a red box around it, it needs to be fixed. A red-box around a course is an indication that something major has changed about a course, primarily a subject change, catalog number change, or an inactivation (discontinuation). A course that falls into the category of obsolete courses (inactivation/discontinuation) may produce an unexpected red-box in the curriculum.
If a course needs to be fixed, please refer to Lumen Programs: Fixing 'Red-box' courses for step-by-step instructions.
