Editing "window"

Guide editors are generally able to make changes to all non-governed content in the months of November and December. 

School/college editors are generally able to make changes to all non-governed content through mid-February. 

The dates and deadlines change each year with the academic calendar. For a condensed calendar, please reference the Lumen Calendar KB. Please note that school/college editors may set additional deadlines for departmental editors that are not reflected on the calendar or deadlines document.

Certain tabs can be updated year-round. In general, the tabs that are able to be updated year-round relate to people changes - Contact Box, Advising and Careers, and Professional Development. If an editor needs one of these tabs changed, effective immediately, they should email changes to guideeditor@office365.wisc.edu and cc their school/college coordinator.

Some tabs can be updated at mid-cycle; many can only be updated for the June 1 publish. Please reference the Guide: Updating Principles by Tab KB doc for a complete description of update guidelines and specific timeline questions.
