Blackboard Collaborate: Overview & Support Options
Why use Blackboard Collaborate?
Blackboard Collaborate and its newer version, Blackboard Collaborate Ultra, are easy-to-use web conferencing tools that enable you to create virtual classrooms and meeting spaces. People at various sites can participate as if they are attending in person.
For more information about key features, getting started, instructional uses and integrations, visit the Blackboard Collaborate web page on DoIT Academic Technology’s website. Both are integrated within Canvas and you will find “BBCollaborate Ultra” on the side navigation bar. However, you will need to add “BBCollaborate Original” to the sidebar if you wanted to use the non-Ultra version in your course.
