Online Learning

In the space below, Learn@UW-Madison provides information that will familiarize you with the primary functions of Kaltura MediaSpace. Where appropriate, we have provided links to articles in our KnowledgeBase (kb.wisc.edu).

Please, note: Kaltura MediaSpace is a media streaming service. As such, its primary purpose is efficient delivery of media files. Kaltura MediaSpace should not be treated as a final, permanent storage space for media files. It is important that you retain permanent copies of your media files in a long-term storage platform such as Box, Google Drive, or a departmental server.

Faculty, staff and students can upload media content to Kaltura MediaSpace, at which point it is automatically converted and optimized for distribution on the web. Media links and embed code are provided so that you can easily share your media in Canvas, on websites and social media.
