Week 2 : Get to know your site
- Ice breaker - Rock/paper/scissors within site and then group
- Discuss site visits (Bring background check to site, checklist, and fill in contracts)

- Role Play: What should you do for first club meeting?
- Have kids decorate nametags or table tents while waiting to begin
- Introduce yourselves

- CS is about CREATING, developing solutions to problems, studying algorithms
- What is an algorithm? Series of precise step-by-step instructions for solving a problem
- Examples of algorithms all around us (recipes, directions for legos, piano music)
- Club Rules: Create with the kids
- Pay attention when asked
- Only school-appropriate projects
- Time is for creating Scratch projects, not playing on the computers
- Respect others
- Have fun
